    Why epic fail?

Sounds interesting... cool to see a port, although at the same time, it's an unlicensed port of someone else's IP, so you would understand if anyone had concerns about it.

I'll look forward to giving it a try, though! Thanks for this!

I haven't been able to try it because all my gear is in storage at the moment, but I think it's a cool release!

I am getting a Model 2 Saturn soon and will be testing out all your great homebrew. Really nice to see somebody porting games to the system after so many years! Keep up the great work man! Its greatly appreciated.

Firstly, thanks for the effort. Brought back some infuriating memories of playing this on the ZX spectrum ! :)

Quick question, I tried the recompiled one on standard modded PAL hardware. Whilst it works fine, is the intro music supposed to keep looping throughout the first level ?

Hey I posted about this at the Sega Saturn Sub-Reddit when the news was first released over at http://www.dcemu.co.uk

It would gain more attention if the porter himself announced he is still working with the Saturn and posted some links.

    If I may...

Rick dangerous controls are stuck in the era of single button joysticks. The controls are great when using Atari-styled joysticks but less cool when using a controller with a dpad and plenty of buttons. I wish there would be an alternate setup, to allow mapping actions to the various buttons of the Saturn controller. I would personally go for
    A Dynamite
    B Bullet
    C Jump
Z Poke in the direction you are facing
    Start Pause

But that's just me. Of course the ideal way to do it would be to allow free remapping.
(I remember trying to get in touch with the author when found out this port to ask him if he could implement a control mapping option. I don't think I was ever successful.)

This is a great relase anyway. Rick Dangerous should be everywhere ;)
