I can't be the only one who is FED UP with having to clear cache when i mod certain games right?
Dead rising is DRIPPING with cache, you cant even mod a single file without having to run halo or forza to clear the cache first, why is there no work around?

Only a few select games really use it, hell even halo 3 uses it, but only to remember what level you had your cursor selected on last time you played ... that's it. But for games like dead rising that use it completely, its garbage ..

Maybe I am confused on what you're clearing, but couldn't you just go into the retail dashboard (I assume you're using an XDK or hacked console) and clear the HDD cache that way vs having to play another game in order to clear?

Its much faster to just run another game and then press the eject button on XDK :p but that does work yup

It helps reduce load times for people who are playing the same game day in and day out. Same thing happens on the original Xbox.

I think I have a later one on my slim kit. No reason to mess with something that works as it should.

True. 21256.13 is buggy and doesn't work with a lot of builds. I use 21256.12 myself.

I do so little with the 360 stuff, and most of it is older anyway, so the updates just make little difference.
