Out of interest, does the boost to RAM and CPU result in any tangible performance increases on many games? Haven't played a lot of games on Xbox, and those that did seemed to work rather well. I figure homebrew would benefit from the speed increase though?

I remember seeing converter cards for sale or services offered to install these in Germany. something about AMD cpu's aswell, indeed that Xbmc forum is full of examples.
Just do a google for Xbox adapter cpu and I found a few already. Also I noticed a few people mentioned that the Xbox cpu is a laptop like version of intel cpu.

Some games run too fast, so there's patches for some games out there...

If you google for that, you just get 1897234 results for xbox 360 postfix adapters.

It has been down for at least 4 months now. I used to go there all the time to get information about certain mods I was doing. At least Xbins is still up as well as most of the pages it links to.

I own 3 or 4 of the Trusty modded 1.4 boxes, 2 of which will eventually be for sale. There was a noted performance improvement on Halo when running large LAN games with rockets and swords. Specifically, if the modded box was the server, there was no slowdown

Hello there I would like to also perform the cpu mod on my xbox consoles. Does anyone knows which tualatin cpus are compatible with the xbox classic? I'm afraid that google search repeatedly fails me on that.
Will the Tualatin Sl657 1.4 P3 will work for example?
