So I thought I would let others see this recent pickup. Aside from the obvious I know absolutely nothing about it. No product name(aside from the codename Baretta) or a reason why I can't find info online about it. From what I have gathered it is possibly an unreleased accessory for xbox, so pretty cool.

Hope you enjoy seeing the photos.

I've been looking for the 360 chatpad prototype myself, but this is even cooler. The early 360 Alpha G5 Towers shipped with original Xbox controller S' along with USB adaptors, could be an early 360 chatpad prototype. I'd love to test this on an Alpha G5.

That would be awesome Borman getting some info about it whenever you can. I wanted to make sure it was something and not nothing before making a post about it. I feel confident enough now that it is something pretty cool.

Never knew that Syclopse! Also have never seen the proto chatpad for 360 that sounds cool. That is this exact one Syclopse hehehe.

Well you know who to contact when you want to sell it! Or just to loan for a few days and I'll ship it back, just to test on the Alpha.

Pop that puppy open and give the dates on the plastics / boards then that would probably answer my question.

Dang, that ended on a Sunday while I was working, no wonder I didn't see it. I check every listing everyday in the Accessories section for Xbox. At least someone here got it and showed it off tho! =)

No evidence of that. Normal keyboards work fine with the Xbox anyway, and there was a USB adapter for PSO

I would, but there doesn't appear to be an easy way of doing that without damaging anything... ;(

It seems that prototype things for the original Xbox aren't so hard to come by. Anyway, good find !
