xbox 360 versions.. how to tell before buying???

Hey guys. My little brothers are about to purchase a xbox360 pro, brand new.

I know about the overheating issue, so I was wondering if there's a way to tell, by simply looking at the box, if it is the latest revision or not?

 

I'm pretty sure anything you buy in a store now is going to be the latest version.

 

Well they still sale the falcon model in stores as well as the jasper.

But to find a Jasper model which is the one you want to get then follow this guide but its not 100%.
