Since the beginning of the Genesis's life span it has been blessed with blockbuster releases. One of which being the original X-Men game. Now, even though this game was graphically beautiful not everyone likes the way the game plays. Some love it and some hate it but it was a solid game nonetheless. Took me years to figure out the whole "Reset" trick on Mojo's level.

X-Men 2: Clone War on the other hand, the second game in the X-Men Genesis series was a 16-bit masterpiece. It ranks up there with games like Earthworm Jim, Vectorman, GunStar Heroes, and many other gems of that time.

I was just wondering, Did Sega have good relations with Marvel and is this why they won the right to develop games using the Marvel X-Men line up? Because I'm sure Marvel wasn't too happy about the use of Spider-Man in Revenge of Shinobi.

Your thoughts? and what do you think of the X-men games on the Genesis?

I could figure out the Reset thing on the second on third try, but I've never, ever figured out how to unlock the door to the space shuttle on the Shiar level. I always just teleported through the door with Nightcrawler, because the game allowed you to literally port anywhere. You could skip a LOT of things that way.
