Looking to buy a XEDK Beta 2 or a Xenon/Zephyr Prototype Sidecar or not, doesn't matter. Also looking for RROD/E73/E74 Devs. I am located in Canada. Looking to spend 200 to 400 dollars. PSU doesn't matter either.
I just ordered one there, 2220Rmb with shipping towards my location in CHina (Mine where located in the north while i stay south) anyway, not sure if its cheap, but apears the real deal. (They sell alott of XDK like retails modded with glitchdevices, watch out for those) I hope to recieve mine soon and test it. will post the seller (Altho I believe he is already posted somewhere here on AG)
I think 99% of these are ones that were sent to be destroyed. I believe MomDad wrote something up about this a few years back. Just be careful
Holy, those are very cheap. Can I use a Xenon power supply with them? Also is there any recoveries so I can run newer games?
They are very cheap, but who knows hell well these things work, if they have hardware inside etc. You're dealing with sellers within China don't forget.
ive seen 4 types, an prerelease version (broken ports, sometimes fixed)(1 seems ;egit, other seller is unkown or something). an XDK version, no side car, a XDK version with sidecar(two sellers so far) and lots and lots of sellers with apears to be a retail modded to dev(useless expensive). the first one is only 300 rmb and I still thinking about getting one, only the seller hasnt responded yet in like 2 weeks. so no buy yet. the xdk's that seems legit without sidecar seems a bit useless to buy, because you not always sure if its a real one, real one xenon or higher or if its a fixed one because some try to put NXE on everything together with homebrew and glitch hack. so, Sidecar or a special looking one might be awesome to buy.

I can't find the momdad post, but be careful. China has been selling these for awhile, there's other sites too that I can't recall. A lot are trashed.
not trying to thread jack, but from what i read most of the cheap one have the ports screwed up on them. You can go buy a RROD'd retail box and switch the ports over if your good with a soldering iron. I would expect the expensive ones to be intact, but it is china i suppose.
I've been tempted to buy also, but I've 3 already. I'd like one with a sidecar so I may do it just for that some day. But I'd like to hear more reviews from people who get them from there
Usually that's with the beta kits that have the ports FUBAR'd, but yea you can take busted xenons ports and solder em on.
