WTB: Official Gamecube & DS2 Controller, PS2 network adapter and RGB scart Hi I'm looking for the following items in faultless working condition:- - Official Gamecube controller. - Official network adater for ps2 - Official Dualshock 2 controller for PS2 - Official RGB cable for PS1/PS2 (I believe it was called the euro-av cable) Thanks
I'm not in London but I have lots of controllers in various colours... give me a shout if you need one.
As per the rules of the WTB forum, you are only allowed one WTB thread. Consequently, I have merged your WTB threads. Was Antipasta's offer for a GameCube controller not acceptable? He's a reliable seller and living in London. Retro Game Base in Streatham Common sell them for £15-20, or £5 for a third party controller. Other than that, try eBay with a distance search, and ask if it's OK to collect and pay cash.
Hi Sorry about that. He didn't respond to my last email sending him my email to attach high res pics. Don't know what happened. Had same thing happen on other forums too. Talking to you one minute then silence. Thanks for the suggestions, I know about those other places but too expensive. I have bought wii console for very close to the price they want for gamecube controllers for e.g. :lol I'm trying distance search, but is taking v long time. Didn't realise it would be this hard to get this stuff for a reasonable price. Oh well.
Ploder - I have all the items you need but I am up in Bradford. I will take some pictures this evening and send you a price with postage... I'm not looking to break the bank with them.
I think you might have to moderate your idea of reasonable - GameCube is becoming popular again and getting more expensive! However, I agree - you can buy controllers cheaper, but a shop will offer a warranty. Kiff is a trustworthy seller - if he says something is tested working, it's tested working. I've bought things off him on numerous occasions and never had an issue. The shop that I worked for has one boxed purple/clear controller for £12. It's not in London, but that should give you an idea of cost. I just called a retro shop about half an hour away - he has none but said they would be £15 upwards. He has two boxed Wavebirds, one is a bit scruffy, the other is perfect - £26 and £46 respectively. Unless you're coming down to Kent, that won't help you out, but I hope it gives you an idea of the market value currently. For the price you're looking at, you're only going to find them at boot fairs - but you take your chance. Dual Shock 2's were £9 second hand when I worked there... not sure if they've gone up now or not. Good luck with your quest!
