That's right. The one shown on the picture is from ebay. I started bidding, but after a while I looked carefully at another crappy photo the guy had, and it seems to have some "white" scratches, so I decided to give up on that.
I have one of those (not looking to sell it, sorry). It's definitely a genuine Sega part. A year ago they were plentiful on eBay. Cheap as chips too, I think I paid 20 dollars for mine.
As has already been said, this type of case does exist, but I'm not so sure about the one you linked to. "White scratches" would imply that it's painted and that the original plastic is showing through. A real case wouldn't be painted, but would have the color impregnated into the plastic.
Yeah... when I was bidding, I asked the guys about that, and he said it was not painted...however I am not sure, because he was very rude, and I am very happy someone else outbid me =)
