Totally devastated!

Lampards shot was clearly over the line and we should have come in at half time at 2-2 but I am far from defending the team. Germany were a different class and when it mattered England players made the wrong choices which cost us the match.
Glen Johnson should have taken a yellow card in the build up to the third goal, instead he pulled out of the tackle and Germany scored; same for the forth goal with Matty Upson.

At the end of the day the best team won and we if can't beat a young second rate German team then we do not deserve to be world champions. As I have said before we expect too much as a nation and build ourselves up for a huge fall!

It wasn't really an "Italy" thing, as it was a "Shitty Ref" thing. This guy has refereed other matches and he always, ALWAYS fucks with the mexican team as much as he can.

Maybe his girlfriend ran away with a mexican dude or something.

Still, Mexico deserved to lose.

 

I don't think you can call Germany second rate, but I agree with most of what you said.

 

the officiating is SO bad they're actually going to stop showing replays and censoring what is shown on the big screens inside the stadiums.

I wasn't referring to germany as a second rate yet pointing out that compared to previous years that could easily be classed as a second rate team.

I think it's Brazil's time again though. They looked immense yesterday going forwards and in defense and I think they just have the edge over the Argies.

Some good games on the cards though now; I might stay and watch them after all :thumbsup:
