Hey, I am really new to the Wii(bought it like 1-2 months ago) and it came with a 4.3E firmware (so I thought that I'm doomed and can't get homebrew). I made it so I could get atleast the GC homebrew(no piracy involved), and I found this today: http://hackmii.com/2010/07/hackmii-installer-v0-7/ Will it enable me to install the homebrew channel? Well, it says it will but a while ago people said that 4.3 is unhackable. Also, I'll be doing this stuff for the first time, can someone explain to me how all of this goes? Or give a good reference link where I can learn everything?
There are some good video tutorials on YouTube, which gives you step by step instructions. Basically you just need the game "LEGO® Indiana Jones" (at least you need to get the game running..). As this game has an exploit, which let's you install the HC, there is currently no way around it. For further instructions the website wiibrew.org is absolutely advisable. Wait, what? How do you get GC homebrew w/o a modchip or the homebrew channel? I didn't think I was THAT out of the loop.
