This one was super tricky, it has a ton of addresses controling a lot of camera variables, the hud, sky and sightglass are controlled by different addreses than the main 3d world, I got dizzy. X(

Does anyone know what is the master code for Phantasy Star Online Ver 2 (ntscU) to use with AR or CB? It seems the game has some kind of anty cheat protection? I need to test some things on real hardware but the codes don't work.

 

A codebreaker was originally required to connect before a patch disc was made. So I know you can use one. Maybe this will help. I think the 'enable code' is what you're looking for

Sorry for asking here but I am looking for PS1 widescreen codes (wiki). I found a thread on the pcsx2 forums but it looks like the codes works only with pcsx? anyway if you have any ps1 widescreen codes or a wiki for me would be great

Is it possible to merge these into a single ISO modifier/etc? What is the boot process like for the Dreamcast, is it possible to create a loader which will load the main binary from a disc and patch it before executing it?

This would be amazing. Playing on my 16:9 tv looks like shite

 

blows my mind how much the visual quality shoots up when in 16x9

 

It requires a cheating engine that works with raw codes and always a mastercode for each game (encrypted codes may not work). I've stopped using a real PS1 or PS1 on PS2 so I can't help you with that but I'm sure it works, I tried a couple with gameshark and it was ok.

 

This has been asked probably 5 times already in this thread. Yes, it's possible. No, nobody has done it yet.

It's on my want-to-do list, along with a ton of other things. (Yakuza 5 and Xenoblade X just recently came out, both are really great games that are eating into my free time.) If someone else doesn't get to it first, I would love to do it. No idea when that will happen though.

(BTW, the version that connects directly to Dreamcast-talk had the binaries completely unencrypted, I hope they didn't spend too much time trying to reverse the encryption.)

 

Good idea. But if he does find a code, I'd say ask Aleron Ives to make another edition of the disc. Because to patch the binary it'd likely require ripping the cdi, and repacking it. Repacking it might dither the fast loading techniques he used for that release

 

Can someone spot the difference?
