I'm all for emulation, but only when it's done right. Get an AVGA & an RGB monitor and I'll let you in my club. Benefits include me lambasting others in forums on your behalf.

TG-16 was great back in the day... and those of us who owned it during its short stay in the US were glad it was brought over.. Heck at the time (being young kids with no internet) we didn't even know that there was such a thing as the PCE...

All the PCE worship is nice and all, but wouldn't it be more interesting with some mentions of great PCE games? Like that montage video, was the music in the background from a PCE game?

Nope! Not unless you've found a card that will send a 15khz signal over them and a monitor that will receive it. Not leet enough. You have to embrace old technology.

And the sad truth is that the games look better in emulation even than through most RGB-modded systems. It's a package deal.

I have a RGB CRT. I live in the US.

Hucard's contain ROM memory. They are just like any cartridge except they are smaller and don't use typical DIP packaged Mask ROMs. They look more like glop tops if I recall.

It's the same thing with Sega's cards they had no PCBs it was just these small metal dodes with games on them, I could never understand how data was put on them even now.

GoH: Get an arcade monitor and throw it in a box... or pay someone to do it!

the silicon for the storage sits under that black seal which is placed on the pcb and direct bonded to the conductorpath/pins of the card. it's nothing different to a normal DIP IC chip except for its form factor.

I've little to no experience with PC Engine, but I just won THIS.

Is that an okay price? I don't think it's fantastic but surely it can't be too bad. Also, would I need to modify the unit for RGB output?
