Where did THESE DC replacement cases come from?

    Typical Chinese shit. They are standard Dreamcast cases which they've painted and added a slot. Take a look at the blue one close up. You can see the original Sega logo and Windows logo under the paint work.

    You could make one yourself to be honst.

    They've got broken and unrepairable systems, gutted them and have spray painted the case with a $5 can of paint.

    Most likely yellowed cases repainted/gutted machine like Cyantist said.

    too expensive for a re-sprayed case, $5 might have been more reasonable

    Or chip the paint back and eat. It just seem like a no brainer if toxic paint is a worry buy a gas mask you paranoid people and put 3 coats of non toxic clear coat on it. The system will shine and you won't worry about the toxic paint anymore.

    considering all the toys that had lead based paints most of us will have played with as children (and licked, chipped and eaten) i dont think a DC case from china is really gonna make that much of an impact on your health ;)
