I realize it sound oxymoron asking for a good clone but I wanted to make something out of an iCade cab that I have laying around. My Famicom clone do not have cart connector and I was thinking of making a Famicom based mini arcade using EDN8 to get something like 5000-in-1 game system that doesn't suck like many of the xx-in-1 games that were released.

Or is there a genuine Famicom board that is very small? Like smaller than a deck of card? If there are a genuine Famicom board that is small I could go for it but if not, a decent clone with cart slot.

I realize that. Unfortunately it seems Nintendo never made a version with tiny CPU and PPU in one small board, they stuck with large PDIP. I just have to hope the tiny clone will work with EDN8.

If it fails, I can always use fire Pi to emulate NES.
