Since I've recently found out, a lot of the members here were born in 1975 and we all live in Japan. Spooky! Anyway, just how many members do we have here from each year.

Please tell the truth when you use the poll.

I won't vote because "1989 or later" pushes me in the kiddie fraction of the board, hahahah. I'm a 1989 and not 1992 or 1993 like those who I consider kiddos :p

Haha, I'm a 93'er kiddo myself. Unfortunately, college, work, and bills prevent me from bitching at my mom to buy me things.

Anyone else feel that this poll is structured similar to the way that car insurance is? "1970 and before" don't have to worry about it. "1989 and later" is fucked.

Maybe us who were born in the 70's think that you are a kiddie  Seriously though, I always think of someone as a little kid when they were born from the mid 80's upwards. I guess that's because I was around 10 by then and at that age you start to be more aware of life and paying attention to things.

Now, anyone who says they were born in the 90's is like a baby to me but that's because I don't feel like it's 2011. You younger guys and girls won't understand but once you reach 30 you don't want to get older and start to lose track of what year it really is so that your nostalgia always seems present. You keep listening to music you knew when you grew up for the most part for a start. Most of my music collection is from the 80's to mid 90's.

10 year olds use the internet, so there are probably kids who were born in 2001 out there on the Nets.

My dad and I had a LAN network in our house, and we shared the dial-up connection over the network. Before that, my dad had an internet connection at work. One day he came home with a black and white dot-matrix print of a screenshot of Vectorman. "How did you get that?" I asked. He couldn't explain it in a way that I would understand.

The first time I ever used a "high-speed" internet connection was when I used the T1 connection at my dad's office. That was long before cable-internet was widely available. We've always been on the cutting-edge. :D

I perfectly understand what you feel like when an 89er like me comes along, youngster alert eh! I have the same feelings about anyone who's born in the 90's although that sounds stupid, right? I can still remember so well the year 1995 when I got to see the baby of some friends of my family. This baby is now 16 and can have sex. It's probably the first time I realize how old I really am, and living in a dormitory with lots of 18yr olds doesn't help. Whenever I have to tell'em that I'm 22 it's like "OMG you're not! You totally don't look like it... no way. Show us your ID!". -_-

In the world of gaming it's even worse. When you are 15-20, pretty much nobody takes you seriously when it comes to collecting or knowledge about games. That's why I never really revealed my age until a couple of years ago, it makes you the target of a lot judgement from older gamers. And the sad thing is, I behave exactly the same right now; I judge gamers and collectors that are younger than me. Maybe because I have yet to meet someone younger than me who collects the same stuff as I do.

22-23 is a weird age, because everyone who's younger than you thinks you're an elderly person, and everyone who's older than you still thinks you're a kid.
