I don't have a pic right now, but this is fairly close to my model of watch, with the exception that the grey part around the sides is a bright yellow:

Just your standard American Timex watch, although I'd love to get one of those fancy G-Shock watches that do the scrolling text and everything else that seem to be all the rage among the youth of Japan from what I hear. Unfortunately, I only HEAR about these watches - I've never found a description or anything else of an actual model....

Well, because a google search on my watch (Lorus VX32-X252) turned up diddly squat I took a picture myself:

  8. This is my current watch.
The one I have is a limited edition without the TAG symbol in the quadrant, only HEUER symbol is present.

I don't wear a watch. I use my cellphone to tell time. On special occasions though I wear this:

This is the watch i wear,

    The Casio G-Shock G2300B-1V
The G-Shock watches are supposed to
be the toughest wathces in the world.
For me this is good, because i am in to a
lot of action sports, like mountain biking
and skateboarding, and i need a watch
that will not die, and trust me this watch will
    not.

Similar to this, a movado. I also have a rolex, but don't wear it much, as I don't want to get robbed.

P.S. Don't buy movado's they are utter rubbish.

How much did you pay for the rolex??

My uncle has one. He paid close to $20k for one. It is a very nice one. I'd buy one but I would only wear it for special occasions and keep it in good condition for years to come so the value of the watch increases. My grandfather has a working Rolex from the 1950s but it doesn't have the original wristband. Still, the watch works and its worth about $9k whereas he paid $110 for it back then.

It's got diamonds in it at the hour marks, it was a gift for
service, so I have no idea how much it is. It's vintage from the
    1950's. I love vintage items. It's a nice stainless, I can't see
wearing a solid gold watch, might as well just wear a "rob me" sign.

The movados are crap, I have three of them and they all
needed extensive maintenance // repair after a year..

    Me part with money :)

I`ll let you into a secret

    http://www.alexandersjewellers.co.uk/acatalog/

They have a trade in system running.

If you buy a watch from them (think it works on jewellery as well)
    say for £200

Provided you keep the receipt and "all" the box, documentation, tags etc etc you can take it back to them in 6 months or 6 years and provided you pay 100% more than your previous spend...they give you the value of the watch.

So as long as you looked at a watch for £400+ you would get £200 back on the old one.

Then again in a few years time take in the £400 watch....buy another @ £800+ and they give you £400 for your old watch.

Works on new models and 2nd ones as well.

On their web site their is a £25 print out voucher as well.

And if you tell them I sent you they say thank you to me as well :smt023
