The original source. I want to see the code structure, comments, macros, compiled out features/debug stuff.

    1) Glover 2 prototypes

Still trying to get my hands on them but no luck yet. :| Also, I'm hoping with everything I have that someone finds a cart of the 80-85% complete version. That would be the most amazing thing~

    1) Resident Evil 1.5 80% build
    2) Resident Evil 2 Beta 1
    3) Killzone 2 E3 2007 build with a Blood Meridian level that is much more dark and gritty than the retail one.
    4) Anything Doom 3 from 2000-2002. Early labs and the bird-man demon.
    5) First version of Metal Slug where you controlled only a tank and there were no on-foot segments. IIRC it was in an advanced beta stage, was location tested and got some less than favorable feedback which led to the major game overhaul. The PCB should be somewhere.
    6) Anything on the Westwood Command and Conquer games. Especially early Tiberian Sun stuff (troubled developments lead to many scrapped things) and early Red Alert 2 that has some more interesting visual style than that of the retail.
    7) Early Chrono Trigger stuff that was in those V-Jump videos.

My grail for a prototype/unreleased game is Bonk: Brink of Extinction. I'd prefer the Wii since it'd be easiest to get running, but I'd gladly take it on any platform. I keep seeing people end up with it, dead links to downloads, etc.

That's pretty much the conclusion I've come to. I hope it gets released at some point, I doubt I'd be able to offer enough to get someone to send it to me.

    1. Bounty Arms (PSX): I found the demo, and one day I will win the lottery and buy Data West just so I can root through their stockroom and look for the full game.

    2. Aquario of the Clockwork (Arcade): Westone's co-founder actually has the source code, so it's not really lost. I'd sure like to play it, though!

    3. Mega Man Legends 3 (3DS): Even just the demo would be great.

    4. Ultimate Journey (NES): The last high-profile unreleased NES game that hasn't been found (or at least brought to the public), it was close enough to final for reviews.

    5. Mother 3 (64DD): Obligatory mention.

    6. Felicia and Shadow Stalker (Super Famicom/SNES): Two unrelated games that I like just for the way they look. Felicia has detailed sprites like a late Squaresoft 16-bit RPG, and Shadow Stalker has a cool Hagane/Shinobi cyberninja style.

Funny thing is that the Doom 3 Canister from the Macworld 2001 video still in the retail release, as an "easter egg" in one of those armory boxes at the beginning of the game.

In regards to the Eiffel Tower in that screenshot (and the differences in the final game) apparently the French government had a problem with their most famous landmark being used as a giant Tesla Coil for some strange reason...
I too would love to see anything for the C&C series (cut content, source code, dev tools, technical specs, mod tools, whatever else)
