Hey All, I had a post similar to this before, but its time to throw this up again. I am looking for USABLE console development kits (They dont have to be pretty, just working). I DONT collect these things, I use them. Unfortunatly, I had to sell a lot of what I had a bit ago, and I hate myself for it. All I have left is my complete SN Systems N64 Dev kit. If anyone has anything, let me know.
well Thanks for the link, but by "development", I dont mean something that can just play ROMS on original hardware. I am looking for something more capable of helping in the whole process, that include realtime debugging etc... Thank you though.
I know it's a pretty stupid suggestion, but you might get a partial devkit and 'fill in the blanks' using unofficial stuff/emus. In the case of the Saturn using an emulator isnt really viable but (I think) you can stick a normal Pro Action Replay in the Sophia and upload your code thru a comms-link card. Getting a complete, usable, Saturn dev environment is gonna require quite some searching though.
Umm, nah. You can stick an AR in a SATURN and upload, but what is the point in doing it in a sophia? The sophia has SCSI to go to a PC!
