Does anyone know if there already exists a tool or piece of software to verify the Dreamcast's CPU/clock speed?

I was thinking more along the lines of after overclocking, I would like to confirm by how much it has been overclocked. I was hoping some Dreamcast software existed to confirm this?

I'm not sure if there is. I heard something about overclocking the DC a while ago but not much of it. It might have been a hardware mod.

I have been overclocking a Dreamcast. I know the frequency of the oscillating crystals however I would still like to confirm via the Dreamcast what it is clocked to...

Ah I see. Will something in Dreamshell tell you what it's running at?

There isn't anything right now that can tell you that and it really is 100% pointless as you know exactly what the crystal you're using is running at.

Unless it's a penis waving contest and you want to show off the overclock mod you did with information gathered from the internet. I think I'm missing something here. If you really must display the clock rate my suggestion would be to get an oscilloscope and probe the thing.

I had a look at Dreamshell RC3, didn't find anything. Thank you for the suggestion though...
