    Hello,
I've found 2 boxed multicarts my grandmother bought me like 20-something years ago, whoever made this did a pretty nice job.
And that got me wondering, do these types of carts hold any value at all?

PS - Sorry if this is the wrong place for such a question, I'm new to this.

I can't seem to find any info on such carts. This Retro-Piracy thing seems to be an internet grey zone.
    But thanks for the info!
    Anyone else?

Yep think it is the wrong place there is a price check forum, I believe they are worth what people would pay for them, probably between $20-30 each on a good day.

They aren't worth much. If you had one containing rare games or a hacked game or Chinese original collection they'd be worth much more. Buts they are, not a great deal. Here in Japan you'd probably get 2000 to 3000 yen max for either of them.

I've seen those multicarts as cheap as $1 on eBay. So unless there's a rare game or a complete original unlicensed game you're not going to get much. From the looks of it you don't have anything rare there.

Pirate carts are mysterious by definition. Too much info on their origin is a legal risk, however minor to the laws of typical countries.

Which is why I posted here.
I don't think they are still considered illegal because these games are old and their producers don't see any more retail profit anyway.

I sold boxed MD multicart with original version of Tetris (yes, that super rare game) for just 6$, and it was in mint condition. Says pretty much about value of multicarts.

Seems most of people come to Assembler's "Rare and Obscure Gaming" only to ask a price of stuff they found accidentally.

Hmmm, Rabo III sounds like a real pirated game :p

and yes, value is very low so I'd keep them.

Edit: hehe, supper volley ball, players need to avoid getting hit by hot soup lol

Original pirate hacks will have some value of some sort for the NES and Famicom. Not sure about the MD though.
