@Rocky5 What am I looking for on that website? Don't see it....
EDIT: nvm, will try the drive utilities first.
I would think after a format (I always do this, initially to NTFS), all options and soft is wiped.

@50CALBR That would be shit, as I bought this specifically for the DC... as people on here confirmed they work without any probs...

You maybe out of luck with the drive utilities, looking up about the APM settings, you would normally use Windows power management to temp disable them.
(Basically widows doesn't let the drive go to sleep)

Also a 1tb drive would have done you.

Try partitioning a Fat32, 990GB partition, set to 64k & set to primary.

If I had to guess, the lid switch is normally closed. So when you add a push button, the button is normally open.
I'm guessing he added a config file to swap his logic.

Without the config file, I put the wires together and nothing happens. If I separete them, nothing happens... Is it possible to make swap just selecting with X button?
When you open the lid nothing happens, so how the pcb knows when to swap without adding a button? Is swapping a new feature and I'm just stupid?

New firmware version 16/04/26 is available

    Changes:
    - improved HDD compatible
    - swapping D2 Images now working
    - fixed another bug at swap Images
    - fixed issue “Linux writing”
    - fixed few minor issues/bugs

Not sure how to update the firmware. Do you just place it in the root directory, turn it on and wait 30 seconds?

    Thanks for the update.
I don't like being a stubborn, but I need to know how to make swap by default. Soldering the original lever? A switch like a posted?

@Rindaman I don't know exactly what you mean. If you're trying to swap the images you just solder off the lever from your old GD-ROM drive and solder it on to your MNEMO USB-GDROM board. If that's what you're talking about.

    Yeah, I meant that.
Optionally, some people has solder on the board two wires to an external switch, instead of the original lever. I tried that (because it's easier than solder off) but it doesn't work for me. I'm not doing it correctly.
    Thanks @erfg12

Plonk it onto your USB device, plug it into UGC & select it like a game & it will install, the firmware.

Are you selecting images to be swapped to first?

You select the image you want with (X) it shows up down the bottom left, either a .gdi or a cdi file name, then you load another image & when you unground the switch it changes the image currently loaded.
(if in a game it will reset back to the DC bios menu)

Did Mnemo fix any of the errors from the beta testing or is it the same?

If after update GDI Images not working-
that means you need also additional update.

Can someone elaborate more on this? Are GDI's not working completely at all after this new fw update for some?, or is it 50/50 when loading certain ones, etc? I just updated mine from the site and tested around 10 GDI's not problem, yet just want to make sure nothing fails, as there is roughly 250gb worth of images to go through, if that is the case.

    Thanks

    Cash grab, LOL? :)
Everything is on MNEMO terms, he proposed me to distribute it here locally for the people who don't want to ship directly from there.
    I don't set the price.

I don't mind forking out the extra few quid.

The way I see it is the extra few quid is for the convenience of not having to wait for mnemo to get back to you & then sort payments out & then wait a few weeks for getting it you.

Same reason I'm all digital this gen, I'm a lazy sod & can't be bothered getting up to swap disc, so I pay £5 to £10 more for the convenience of not having to get up off my arse lol

Updated the firmware to the latest this morning. So far, Crazy Taxi, Confidential Mission, Hydro Thunder and Soul Cailbur have crashed during their demo loop sequences at some point.

Just to point out, Crazy Taxi was narrowed down to a incompatible SD on GDemu and once I upgraded to a 128Gb Kingston, the problem was eliminated, yet wasn't too bother with it doing it on the USB version, yet to currently have 3 other titles freeze up on the USB, it's not looking good and needs addressing. So is this now a incompatible HD? not pleased at all:(

The GDI's i'm using are Trurip and work flawlessly on my GDemu I have also, so it's not them and the drive was formatted as a primary partition.

Those games never crash on me with the last update for the usb gdrom so I'll be skipping this.
