Don't bother with an AMD CPU, they're total garbage, and even AMD's flagship can barely stand up to a current-gen Intel i3.

I'm Sorry but Intel processors are overpriced and I have used amd for years and I have had no problems with them so I don't know were you are getting they're crap from.

The benchmark numbers speak for themselves. I used AMD for years too, back in the Pentium 4 era when AMD processors were leaps and bound ahead of Intel, but now the reverse is true.

That is straight from the horse's mouth. Just do yourself a favour and get an Intel based system. Yes they are more expensive, but that's because they're objectively better. Even the FX-9590 is 3 years old now, and that's AMD's most powerful CPU, it just doesn't hold up.

AMD is not garbage. You build a PC to your needs, not blindly throw a 10 core $1800 intel cpu in it when you'll only ever use two threads.

That said, I would for a normal gaming pc recommend you wait until the 29th when the new amd gpus come out.

AMD is great for your budget, however their quality is certainly not to par as Intel. They run a little hotter too.
I went Intel only a year or 2 ago and I can say I'm much happier with it. Compared to AMD X4 I had.

You may have issues with some games with AMD processors as well, just keep that in mind.

I don't get why nvdia felt the need to release the 1080 and the 1070 video cards so soon after the 980 came out which was in June last year.

Skyland has some very good tech specs beneficial to emulation software like ADX 512 it's also moderately cheap

You mean i7 Skylake and its still has 4 cores and I changed my mind I'm getting the fx 8350 8 core 4.0/4.2ghz black edition instead of the 9590 is runs to hot and uses to much power.

Yup skylake the tech in itself is really nice I have a 8350 myself it's a decent cpu and I agree the 9590 isn't worth it

I've had good luck with my 8 core AMD CPU's. For the price they work awesome. I know they don't win in the benchmark contests, but I can't recall ever using benchmarks in my day to day computing. For a general media/game computer I couldn't be happier. Well, Windows 10 could be less crap, but that's another story.
