"uncarve" initials from a GBA?

    Bought a used GBA and the previous owner had carved his initials into the thing. Any way I could "uncarve" the initials?

    Nope. Maybe Testor's contour putty and then a repaint, but with no repaint, it will look brown and ugly.

    Pics would be helpful. I have used very fine steelwool and water. (kind of a wet sanding)
