I gave away a lot of PlayStation games and told him that I would ship them and later tell him the price. I shipped the items the told him how much it was.

Now he refuses to pay? I mean the lot itself is worth more than shipping and for him to have received the games for essentially $9.15 USD is a decent deal.

Just the thought that I'd be nice to give away my stuff and being taken advantage like this boils my blood.

If he's not paid you (and therefore, games not sent), how has he taken advantage of you?

Sorry, I should be more clear.

    1. We agreed that I would ship and pay with my own money.
    2. I would then PM TonyynoT the amount that cost me to ship.
    3. TonyynoT then proceeds to pay for shipping.

TonyynoT has failed to pay for shipping.

    That makes much more sense.

However, always get payment before you send anything - even if its just shipping costs

    :(

He will just change his name or make a new account.

Only way is to get ASSEMbler to ban his IP address from these forums.

People who steal, are not welcome here.

Well, I can post part of his address. In all honesty, I just want my $9.15.

Banning IP's is useless, you would have to ban his entire ISP address range for it to be effective. Then you would be banning a lot of innocent people.

Next time just get a quote for your shipping first and get the money.

He hasn't been online in 3 days. When were you pm'ing him?

Thanks. It's only $9.15, but it's the principle of it. I mean, I gave him $20+ worth of games.

I'll give him more time until he logs back on. From there, if he doesn't respond... well, am I allowed to post his address? Or is that too extreme?

Also, I can try to look up the receipt from USPS to show proof that I'm in the right.

A lesson well learnt. As Bad_Ad84 said, ALWAYS get payment first before sending items. Some people do this and I never understand why, you can always be cheated when sending an item first.

Even though it's $9.15, luckily it's not $80 or even more. Sorry to hear this I know how frustrating it would be.

I'd possibly PM ASSEMbler about it, so maybe he can get a warning or a ban or something.. Even though bans are not that effective..

9 US dollars?? And he won't pay?? The cheap bastard. 9$ is nothing at all. We will PM him about this.

If your not sure, you can simply quote a few dollars over for shipping, then refund the extra. Better than getting scammed for the whole amount. (>_<)\

I have shipped first to a few members and never had any problems, then again these members have been around for a long time. You should be cautious when dealing with new members or members with low post which do not contribute to the site.

This should be on the Feedback forum, though yeah I agree it sucks.

Too extreme. Naming and shaming is one thing, inviting the world to their doorstep is another. If you appoint a local representative to speak to them on your behalf that is OK I guess, but only such representative should have the details.

Not necessary unless they deny it :p

Yes, possibly post their city, and find someone who happens to be close-by to give them a 'friendly' visit :)
