    Buffalo Springfield - For What It's Worth

    a great classic, sometimes you get the feeling the music was better in the "good old days", back then there was no auto tune, people could sing or they couldn't. And there was no bastardized pseudo music like speed core, which is worse than listening to pink noise while callibrating new audio equipment.

    I avoid the music described in your rant by NEVER listening to the radio. I use the internet and friends to find new good music. I also go to a lot a shows and have discovered quite a few decent bands that are just opening acts.

    I was looking through a friend's iPod and they had The Who. So I was like, oh, cool, let's see what they got. All they had was "Teenage Wasteland". I facepalmed.

    Double Love by Pretty Lights
    It's kind of like Dubstep but not it has a very organic feeling to it and a kick ass oboe part and french horn part.
