The 3DS has been fully hacked

Have to wait and see what Gateway has for the New 3DS. I doubt that you will be able to get a New 3ds below 9.2 in a month or two, so probably It's a good idea to think about purchasing one now.

 

Hey guys, I need a bit of help. I am about to purchase a gateway 3ds, but I was wondering if anyone here in the U.S.A had a site that they have bought from and had a good experience with, Sadly I don't own a credit card just a debit and paypal(my debit card is visa powered like most though). Got mine from realhotstuff.com they are based of of new jersey. Bought from them many time with zero issues.

 

Aright, just ordered one and thank you for the suggestion. I got a receipt and If I get a tracking number then I know it likes my debit card.

I was gonna go with them before posting, but the have been out for a while. I liked rhs since thats where I bought my dstwo from.

 

If anybody is in Europe I recommend playmods.co.uk They ship from Cyprus and I got my Gateway in less than a week. And the price was the best I could find in Europe.

 

For the most part it's fine, but many sites don't take Visa Debit FYI.

 

Ford mustang is right, I think modchip central was one that said they don't like debit cards. Its odd, I think it may have to do with international transactions, but I had no problem with the international transaction though you do get hit with a 58 cent fee for doing so. Modchipsdirect has bank accounts in Taiwan or Hong Kong thought it might be China mainland.

 

So is this piracy only, or can it be used to install a hacked firmware, or does it work as a "freeloader", so we can finally play real imported games?

I'm a little confused if this has to be inserted at all times or not, and if it's only for loading ROMs.

 

You can install .cia files, you can install emulators ( The SNES one is already making big progress and most games are playable now). You can install a .cia file to remove the DS flashcart blacklist. Yes, you can also install a CFW, but you don't even need a Gateway, just a standart DS flashcart would work for that. And it doesn't have to be inserted at all times, it only has to be inserted when you want to boot Gateway mode and play roms.

 

I'm not interested in having to rip my games to play them. Luckily with the new exploit revealed today, I won't need to

 

It's not 100% confirmed, but it seems that Nintendo has been starting to ban users with a flashcart. If you are using a public header, you might get the error code 002-0102, that means that you are banned. If you use a private header, you should be fine.

Any idea why Gateway still hasn't released the exploit for New 3DS ? Even if there were bugs, they should have been fixed by now.
I'm guessing that it's because the team isn't together, they are split across multiple time zones and that's why they can't really get their shit together.

 

Hmm... Wondering the same thing. And not only that, but trying to find some exploit in 9.5.0-22+ may take time.

 

My humble guess is because of the recent Chinese lunar new year.... Its still the holidays at their side. Chinese have long holidays.
