A slim chance. The SNES CD was a lucky find^^
Then again, Sonic X-treme must have been pretty hard to find too, yet we have it now (sames for Biohazard 1.5) so yeah...I guess there's still a chance to find this. (though, I'll be more excited for Mario Galaxy's E3 Demo honestly).

 

for me, getting ROCKMAN NEO was nice (megaman ledgends early build with resident evil) , id one day like to see the sonic adventure beta or somthing like that

 

We pretty much received it already. The AutoDemo can be used with an Action Replay/GameShark in order to make characters controllable.

 

i mostly mean that early build for the DC, with proto windy valley and all that ( i know its in the autodemo)

someone needs to make a mod, not for DX, like port the DCa version over to pc and add back the proto assets

 

So we should probably keep talking about this. Anybody else notice anything?

 

The entire lack of selecting what star you want to get is nice, and seeing the star number at the top of the HUD makes me think all were available, but you had to figure out what to do.

Maybe the secret stars in levels are remnants of this move?

 

It doesn't seem there's a mission system yet, hence the lack of star select. My guess is that you were supposed to explore the world & find stars placed in certain areas of the levels.

 

probaly a (demo over) scream would come up, cus there is footage of one (i have it) that shows the game over with added text saying thank you for playing

 

Good but, when would it come up?
Obviousely when you run out of lives but, there's no sign of time limit or any max number of stars you can get (maybe one per level?)

 

demo probaly ended with the game over then played a video (wich can bee seen in a few vids) wich had a spinning mk64 styled nintendo logo and some added text comming soon

completely different texturers, the obvious stuff. the fact thaat the slide was allways apart of cool cool moutain (snow slider in the demo) insted of what everyone thought it was connected to whomps fortress

 

I doubt that a video would play. Remember, this was running on the N64, there aren't a lot of games using FMV. These videos were used for promotion only.

 

your right there. i forgot the 64 cant handle FMV that well.

 

I think there is a map in the beta.

Do you have an incomplete collections of the pictures you have collected so far? I bet there are a few screenshots that are lesser known, somewhere in the depths of archive.org. Maybe I can see if there are some that have not been added yet.

 

The 64DD version has been found, it's nearly identical to the Retail Jp release.
The only differences are: Load times, some crashes in later levels (tiny huge island) & what sounds like higher quality samples for the Castle Music...

 

That sucks, I guess there are no beta pictures there
