Hi, I just received a bare board Super Everdrive today and it's definitely not going to fit in the shell I hollowed out for it. Is this common? I really don't want to hollow out the one Super Famicom game I have...do people generally have to cut more out of the inside of the shell than just the top part for the SD card?

There are two shell types. I think you hollowed out a super fx shell. You need use a regular shell...if my memory serves me correctly. You could probably just snip some more plastic bits and make it fit.

I see. Well, I'll compare the inside of the shell I hollowed to the Pro Action Replay 2 I just stuck the Super Everdrive in - if it can be snipped, that's preferrable, otherwise, it's gonna sit in a junky ol' PAR2 shell. Thanks :)

I don't know how common it is, but some special games like ones that use SuperFX chips have different layout and won't work without modification to the inside.
