Dude, that is lovely. Seriously lovely. From the mists of time comes a long lost gem, I wonder who it can be.

Defo the cover for me. I'd really appreciate the files of that from you nearer the time. Wub wub!

Barc0de, I've got to say that the simple design is very good. Not my cup of tea as to say but I can certainly see where you are coming from with that  Good stuff

What software are you using to get that "jelly" like finish BC? I've not got any photo manipulation software on this PC at present as I've just been backing things up and considering upgrades. The talk of HDD failure in other threads made me somewhat paranoid as these HDD are now almost 3yrs old.

    Only problem is this:

    Barc0de's art: very subtle.

The word "extreme / xtreem /X-treme, etc.": the opposite of subtle.

    @Ccovel: I think i prefer this version:

    well i thought about it.

I would have made some hand-drawn , detailed, megadrive-like sonic art-work, if only the game was the fisheye version.

This version , with the nights engine, is just a field and sonic running around it. It's simple, yet historic. Nothing "extreme" about it though, game-wise.

I thought something subtle, and mute, but with an obvious meaning would be more appropriate for the content included instead of the classic cheesy sonic covers. The silent personality of the picture represents what could have been.

I took cues from the Sonic team logo and Sonic & Knuckles

I am not really that good with garphics stuff but i think for me this is quite good

I didn't want to have sonic in color but i was going to have the X-treme logo/text in red with the sonic in blue as it is but i couldn't get the X-treme part right. I thought the blur effect looked quite nice anhd gave the effect of movement

nice work 3do:D The "long-legged sonic" of Sonic Adventure is definetely more aggressive than his previous versions, yet anachronistic considering SA was released years later

Thanx Barc0de, I prefer the Sonic Adventure sonic to any other and because of his agressiveness i think he is more suited to the title Xtreme

I may redo the Xtreme part of my design when i have time

I chose to be different. Its minimalist to a degree, but says everything it needs to while keeping a clean look. Oh, and I also wanted to do a long-box design ;)

I even changed the "official" in the seal of quality to say "unofficial" ;)
    Thanks for the positive feedback!
