I was browsing Sonic Retro and somebody found an unlabled Megadrive Cart when SEGA US was Downsizing, if you press start the game resets itself.

Sonic is also a darker shade of blue.

Its an Autodemo Prototype, it's in the process of being dumped.

It's only been a few minutes. Calm down my man.

Some people are still sleeping - unlike me where I need to sleep.

Bumping after only 8 minutes? Err, no. As per the rules, only bump once a week has elapsed. This is a forum. Replies will come... but don't expect them to be immediate!

However, there's not really any reason to bump a news-type thread. If it has replies, it has replies. If it doesn't, let it die unless you have something to add.

Please use the edit button rather than triple posting, as per the rules.

Unfortunately it looks like it's the final version with an autodemo feature coded in -- no prototype stuff is visible in the video. I'm working with the owner of the cart to get it dumped, so we should find out for sure soon.

Why? It's not uncommon for RAM carts and such to be used for pre-release copies of games, just look at all those Famicom prototypes sitting on FDS RAM carts.

Very cool. Thanks for the update. You never know what's hiding under the surface. Excited to hear what comes from this.
