[Solved] Possibly leaky caps on 1.4 PSU?

    While replacing the Xbox's HDD, I lifted the hard drive caddy to find this. At first, I thought it may be sticky tacky (Or whatever its called), but then I noticed that those would be very unusual places for it. Should I replace the PSU ASAP?

    If you are talking about the white stuff on the 2 small capacitors then no - they are not leaking. That is sealant/glue that gets plonked on top of certain components, I think to stop vibration. I have it in all of my boxes.

    I can also confirm that it is normal and I see it in original Xboxs all the time.

    It sounds like you've never opened one before. ...... Check your clock capacitor.
