I finally got one of these, what was the difference between it and the normal SN unit? Think I can use the normal N64 sn software /intercase with it?

I think it can only transfer/run code from N64 RAM.

How do you bypass the ic check on a normal n64?

The Maestro doesnt have any on-board memory. It can only upload data to the internal memory of the N64. Its kinda nice, I have one myself.
