May 29, 2015 7:09 AM - bacteria: You can fairly easily adapt a controller to work with a multiple of systems, the trick is to make the controller just button contacts and have the proprietary controller board connected to the console system which then interfaces with the adapted controller. Much better than having to use a separate controller for all systems.

I can easily enough make a controller that matches the n64 portion, but it will be difficult to make the controller enough like the super famicom/famicom one

May 29, 2015 7:22 AM - bacteria: IMO the SNES and NES controllers, and MegaDrive are not good to hold or use, so therefore find a controller you like the feel of that you can modify into a custom controller - for me, the SuperPad 64 controller feels great to use
May 29, 2015 7:23 AM - bacteria: The only systems the Superpad 64 won't work well with are GameCube, Playstation - as the GC uses 2 joysticks as does the PS, also the PS uses 2 sets of shoulder buttons. You need to decide what controls you need then work forward from that

May 29, 2015 at 7:09 AM - bacteria: You can fairly easily adapt a controller to work with a multiple of systems, the trick is to make the controller just button contacts and have the proprietary controller board connected to the console system which then interfaces with the adapted controller. Much better than having to use a separate controller for all systems.

May 29, 2015 at 7:22 AM - bacteria: IMO the SNES and NES controllers, and MegaDrive are not good to hold or use, so therefore find a controller you like the feel of that you can modify into a custom controller - for me, the SuperPad 64 controller feels great to use
May 29, 2015 at 7:23 AM - bacteria: The only systems the Superpad 64 won't work well with are GameCube, Playstation - as the GC uses 2 joysticks as does the PS, also the PS uses 2 sets of shoulder buttons. You need to decide what controls you need then work forward from that
