    the mod is just a switch, you can attach any switch you like - including a code wheel. You could use a rock band guitar if you really wanted to... it doesnt mean anything.

    Yeah, I wouldnt use one of those for the region mod. But each to his own I guess?

    If you put one wrong number for region code while you powe on the console. Your Saturn motherboard will stop work for good. So this mod is useless and unnecessary.

    You always can get Action reply cart that region unlock.

    That item on ebay been there sometime now. I saw this month ago.

    much like the modding work on this console.... horrible idea + looks

    The "type of mod" is putting a switch between 2 connections - so yes, you have heard of it.

    You can use any switch you like, the mod is exactly the same.

    Its still stupid though.

    ah yes, just to clarify my comment above was about "hearing using this specific kind of switch" which is just horrible like Bad_Ad84 says...

    Maybe I should put a light sensor on the next saturn I mod.

    Play it in the dark, its 50hz. Play with lights on, its 60hz.

    Put a GPS sensor in it, make it so it switches regions according to which continent the machine is located in.

    Actually, don't modern consoles do that already? Set the machines region accordingly whenever you sign up online?
