Saturn Modchip help

    Oh, right - it needs to be 20mhz because the SH1 inside it runs at that speed.

    I really need to write up the pinouts now...

    I found a guide but it keeps on the flashing that the drive door is open and then checking disk format back and forth.

    Sounds like the communications between the Saturn and the CD drive are messed up. My first guess would be that the place you soldered the clock wire to wasn't a stable clock.

    Unfortunately, none of the machines I have here have Sanyo drives, so it's difficult for me to suggest anything.
