    Thanks for looking into this!

JHL seemed to be too busy to work on it for awhile.

If they're really incomplete, and the information isn't there, how would it even be possible to convert them? You wouldn't be able to create missing information.

(Also, I have no idea what I'd use to convert dumps. I normally run Linux. I could boot into Windows, but even then I don't have Daemon Tools or anything else that can convert images to CDI or even rip disks as CDI.)

It is mostly the bin/cue layout having too many oddities and many different permutations per ripping application, and the subcodes which are missing on them.

CDI format has the data stored in a way that more closely resembles how it is physically laid out on a CD, which is how the emulated drive needs to send it as. And CloneCD is close enough that it was possible to support it. But supporting bin/cue would need to get around too many things, in real time, on a very limited chip. Plus even if the controller was powerful enough, you still need to write firmware for the clusterfuck that is the cuesheet format.

I could see a point in supporting redump.org bin/cue though. Seems to me to be the better of the different preservation attempts and their format is at least internally consistent.

Redump tends to bend formats in ways they think is more accurate, and this has caused compatibility problems in GDEMU before.

Has there been any progress on this since last September? I know the SD ODEs have replaced some use for these, but this seems like a more elegant solution than physically replacing the CD drive.
