    Interesting....

I have no doubt this could be real and I sincerely hope it is. Unfortunately, just like the PS HD Loader, it seems like there are problems with the (redbook?) audio. Either way, it is very exciting because I am always worried about my Saturns cd-drive failing.

    Why?

I work with Chinese engineers every day - if you don't think they are capable of designing something like that you are absolutely wrong.

They sure are great at cloning stuff, but mainly because it's borderline there to do so while it's clearly illegal in North America.
There's certainly good engineers there too!

So how exactly did Huawei manage to have a working 4G LTE network before anyone else in the world? Kind of hard to copy technology that nobody else has. And pretty much all the high-end Cisco gear in now being designed in Shanghai.

I'm also old enough to remember when exactly the same claim was being made about the Japanese.

This would be awesome if it's real. I tend not to believe anything like this until I've seen hardware though.

I think the ones he's talking about are the emulator boxes that run from SD, not the actual optical drive emulation.

    Google translation of the site:

"SAROOO" is an expansion card used for the Sega Saturn, Saturn expansion card can be read via this USB device game.

In other words, it is a HDLOADER.

Making this device, the original idea comes from one of our crew childhood dream.

After more than a year of effort, they can already run successfully played some games.

It can be said has achieved initial success.

Here are SAROO actual video, voice and play the animation in addition, there are many needs to be perfected.

    SAROO read Langrisser 3

    SAROO read Langrisser 4

We will continue to work hard and hope you can work with everybody playing the recent "SAROOO" on Saturn.

Hmm, sounds like the real deal. Would be cool to have one for convenience sake. I could used all of my Saturn shooters on the HD or all the fighting games for a mini arcade like box.

I used google translate to post a comment on their page telling them good luck, and asking if they would ship to other countries. Seems my comment was deleted.
