The Saturn forum is marked "Programming and Development", so I hope it's okay to ask here...

Are there any multiplayer Saturn games that require/recommend use of the Analog controller? (Simultaneous multiplayer, not turn based multiplayer.)

NiGHTS into dreams is the obvious answer

Also, virtually all of the racing games recommend analog controls, and most offer head to head competition

For multiplayer games, I think you would be limited to racing titles. Not many games used the analog controller.
Soukyugurentai also supported analog input, very odd for a shmup (and kind of pointless).

NiGHTS supports simultaneous multiplayer?! Can't believe I never knew that. Gotta get it out the closet today and try it!

Yeah, Nights has multiplayer, and I bet most people don't even know about it. Not anything to get excited about though, all you have is a Nights and Reala fight mode that's like the boss battles.

7Force, I wish you posted this before I got everything out and set it up. Yes, it's pretty weak. Oh well, at least I can have a long overdue NiGHTS gaming session tonight.

Duke Nukem 3D has analog controls, and you can play it in online coop via phone connection iirc.
