    Hey,
Not sure what is this disc to be honnest, it seems to have been professionally decorated despite it shows some defaults like wrong image centering and also average painting finish all around the edge.

    The matrix says : SRV - 027 RD.EVIL 3, when inserted in a PC, the explorer says : SLUS_00923

My knowledge is not good enough to say if this build is different from the standard, so waiting for someone who knows !... If you need some other informations, please feel free to ask.
    Thanks for your replies

Possibly a pirated copy? That would explain the semi-professional artwork.

Do these pirate silvers I've heard about run on unmodified consoles?

No they don't.... you need a modded system to have them to work.

Well, the game doesn't work with an european retail PS1 but works well with a modded PS1. As PS1s are region locked, I don't know if the problem comes from the files format (CD says SLUS, that is not expected to work with EU PS1) or if, as a rule, that kind of disc needs a modded PS1 to work properly.

Its because it needs to be modded to work. Its not a region issue.

    Precisely.
Bootlegs, like cd-r's, need modchips/action replays or swap tricks to play
