thats cool thanks... i am currently uploading DC UK #-L bit of a warning to EVERYONE... this is from the TruRip Torrent... so they have duplicates that have nothing but a notepad stating there were more than 1 version and the only difference was CD info that they were nice enough to include... (i freaked thinking the torrent was bad till i checked that i had at least 1 GDI per game)

thanks keropi... the games i know that have extras if anyone has the real copy... Skies of arcadia disc 1 and 2 and yes they have a little different wall paper on the 2 discs, Sonic Adventure 2, I think both Evolutions, grandia 2 I think.

 

All the extras you seek are in track01.bin use bin2iso then extract the ISO to get the wallpapers that are there if they are most games don't have anything inside and are generic. Track02.raw is the audio track telling you to insert into a Dreamcast system. Only Skies of Arcadia is different that I have ever seen.

 

oh really... cool no one ever told me this... will give it a go...

mounted the SA2 bin and there they are... but i could have swore there were more Wallpapers i really thought i remebered a Dark evil Chao but oh well maybe it was from a website when i bought the game...

again thanks for info... will start ripping the wallpapers out. and i apologize to Trurip and im sure also TOSEC for assuming you guys left the wallpapers out..

Yea NP we didn't see the point of posting duplicate data so we only added what was different. Even though its usually just the offsets that are different and can be made to match easily with tools written by executter

Did a rip of System Disc 2 ever appear anywhere?

its in applications... will have that uploaded after Jap games

 

System Disc 2 rip doesn't work; it boots and shows the screens and stuff, but it does not allow GD-R play like the original does.

 

Yeah, an sd2 rip exists since at least 6 years. I selfbooted it for mark30k1 back then. But it will never work from CDR, by design. AFAIU, the actual key to this disc is in its custom "ring" which can't be reproduced.

 

I recall it needing to be mode 1 while a CDR rip is mode 2 this preventing booting. Kinda like Geist Force when it needed to be hacked to boot. Anyone wanna try this on their ODE and GDR? I will once mine arrives. Having it wired up with a nice slot for DS and HDD setup as we speak.
