Pop it into your PC and check file dates. Check directories and such as well. Compare to final version if need be. If it's August then it's about 2 months from NA and 3 months from PAL release dates. From Wikipedia

If you wanted, you can use PCSX2 to emulate from the disc, or you can rip the image with Alcohol 120% or imgburn (no idea if theres anything special but rip to ISO should work) and then emulate. Do you know if this is the PAL or NA release? SLES is EU SLUS is NA (or SCES or SCUS if its not a licensed title)
its a us disc i can play it on my test ps2 so playing it is not a problem i would like to get my stuff out there though
Feel free to rip it with either of those softwares. They should work without issue. If you upload it, use winrar or 7zip to zip it (zip, 7z, rar, your choice) and for a host your options are Mega.NZ, Mediafire, Dropbox, Google drive, one drive, and many more even your own server for FTP. Can you post any screenshots of the game?
