    PSP Prototype Game Melodie.

So I recently got myself a PSP DTP-T1000, to my surprise it still had a dvd in it with on it Melodie.
The pre-game screen says "Copytight Kuju LTD 2005". I checked their site but it's not listed under their games, I also couldn't find any info about this game so I'm assuming it's an unfinished-unreleased game / prototype.
Perhaps you guys can shed some light on it.

Here is the ISO image of the disc. Link

    Here are some pictures.

I've also uploaded a video, not the best quality because I had film using my phone, might make a better quality video some time when I get a VGA to HDMI convertor.

If you're looking to trade devkit cdrs, let me know. (ie a copy of what you've found.) I have a T1000a as well and collect these sorts of things. (BUT if I find anything I release it to the public...)

He doesn't have to release it if he doesn't want to. And I'm not saying you are saying that, it just seems like you are.

There's a bit of info here:
    http://www.jontaylorart.biz/zmyoutopia/4580157974
He was hired as an artist for the game. Sounds like it never was released, and has become something called Youtopia that Zoe Mode re-pitches from time to time for different gaming devices...

I don't mind ripping the dvd and uploading it somewhere. Is there a special method for ripping it or can I just turn it into a standard iso image?
Where would I be able to find more of these unreleased games, I would love to have more.

Should be able to just rip the ISO using a PC drive, no problem.

Borman is right, just rip it as a standard ISO image. And thanks man, for being so nice about uploading it! :)

PSP addicts gotta stick together! :)

I think the ISO should work on a retail PSP-1000 or maybe a model with more RAM...

The ISO ripped from the DVD likely wont work straight on a PSP. You need to take a file from the ISO and run that. It will also depend on your PSP setup, where you might need to swap around a file to get it to boot.

As for if it runs on all models, it really will depend on the game. Saints Row didnt. My Aliens vs Predator prototype did.

I'll try to rip the dvd this weekend, not promising anything, the weather is nice so I rather be outside. : )
Afterwards I will test it out on a cfw psp and an ofw psp.

Just remember, ripping the DVD alone wont make it work on the PSP.

Anyway, i think we will be able to create and test something by ourselves out of DVD ISO content, that was simply made with IsoBuster, i guess (using: PBP Unpacker/PRXdecrypter/UMDGen/seboot/FakeNP)? If it has a readable file system on it?

There are usually around 4 files on the DVD. All should be readable by the PC. Assuming the game is one layer, there is really only the one file that matters. Grab that one, change it to ISO, and give it a shot. If it doesnt boot on a retail system, then you can change the boot file around. It should boot then. Whether or not it goes beyond that is a different story, as seen with Saints Row.
