Psp dummy in box.

Hey guys.
I recently received this PSP dummy with it's box in a lot that I bought.
What does the P.O.S.-MATERIAL stand for?
Can't find any info on these. Was it made for store displays or conventions or something else?

 

Point of Sale Material. It's just stuff to help merchants sell the product. Dummy systems can be put anywhere without fear of getting wrecked and allow people to see how it feels in the hands.

 

Makes sense, thanks for the clarification! I have seen phone dummies before but never a psp one.

 

I must say as a PSP 3000 owner it looks very strange on the buttons.
Neat find and I hope we can see some pictures of its guts lol
