So I scored a PSone with Official Sony LCD screen for a 5$ game trade. The good news is I was able to get it running, screen and all after some cleaning and minor repairs but...all the screw holders that keep the screen attached to the mechanism that allows you to keep the screen at the angle of choice..are busted. Every screw holder but 2 on each side (Screen and rear adapter) are broken. I don't think there's enough glue or epoxy to get it to hold. Heck, i'd have to rebuild the holders then get it all to stay in place!

I've looked everywhere and cannot find any website that has replacement LCD screen lids. Just wondering if anyone had seen any, or even a cheap broken screen since all I need is a functioning lid. FullSizeRender (6).jpg

I -MIGHT- be able to get one for you @Ashevent. I'll let you know tomorrow for sure. If I can't get something together then I hope someone else on here has what you need.

Problem is, the "holders" didn't break off..they shattered..like into a bunch of tiny little pieces..there's no pieces big enough to rebuild with epoxy.

if all else fails, use small nuts and bolts(through the lid, painted white), don't forget the locktight!

Through the lid?! ahhh heresy!..lol. I'm debating on just trying to rebuild the holders from plastic epoxy clay and then tapping them for the bolts. if that doesn't work and I can't find a replacement lid..heck, I may have to drill that sucker through.

Hey @Ashevent. Really sorry man, but my friends spare PSOne screen has the exact same issue as yours  it seems like a pretty common issue with them.

    Do what I did

make some metal or plastic poles that sit in whats remaing of the scre wholes and epoxy them in. Then put in the hinges and epoxy the hell out of that.
Just as strong and good as new with no visual difference.
