    PS2 regionfree DVD loader?

I'm looking for the "REGKEY v7" as mentioned over at PSX-Scene.
There's also MCLoader 1.35 but I have that.
It would be nice with a single purpose app that could be assigned to a button in uLE without scrolling through menus and stuff.

I don't think so. I need a PS2 executable. ELF files for PS2 are what EXE files are for Windows.
So basically I'm looking for a loader which lets me play a video DVD of any region.

Is this what you're looking for ?

The filename is "DVD-Reg.BIN". It's not an ELF but a BIN/CUE disc image. A standalone ELF (PBPX_952.01) can be extracted from it...

I don't know if that's what they were talking about at psx-scene, but it looks like it could be what's needed.
Thanks for sharing, I'll report back once i test this on my PS2, which is far away at the moment.

I have extract PBPX_952.01 from BIN/CUE disc image,
rename it to DVD.ELF, launch through FMCB or uLe from MC, but i'm getting only black screen.
Does this program works with slim consoles?

    I don't know I've never tried it.
Here's a working region free DVD solution http://assemblergames.com/l/threads/ps2-dvd-player-modifications.43968/

Nope. The program shouldn't be able to patch anything higher than 2.12. The DVD Player Version 2.13 introduces a ram alteration countermeasure and a new stub to the dvd player ELF.

Frankly I'm looking for fix green screen DVD playback on PS2 which appears with SCART cable.
Unfortunately this modification doesn't support that.
Maybe another version will fix this.
    Thanks for detailed answer.

The link I gave you is for a mod by krHACKen that enables region free dvd support. I use it myself, thanks again krHACKen :p !

To clarify, "PS2 DVD Player RPC Patcher" (a DOS program) does not patch the RGB stuff cuz it's quite old.
But the repacked DVD Player version 3.11J KELF (which @americandad uses) comes with the green screen fix.

Grab the two packages that are currently available if you want to install it to an European machine. The English files are into the North American package (the ones in the European package are Russian).
As for the Japanese bundle with the swapped X/O buttons, oh well I forgot to publish it... I keep that in mind and 'll post it later...

Once again thanks guys for help.

I'll try to copy "osdmain.elf" from new FMCB v1.951 MC and see if it will work.
