    Hello everyone,
My PS1 controller stopped working recently. The "Analog" button works and the LED too but all other buttons don't. Any ideas of how to fix it?

    Controller model: SCPH-110

    Thank you :)

Did you make sure it's your pad and not the console?
If so, open it up and post pics :)

I add my request of help in this thread 'cause i have the same problem on 2 ps2 joypads (coming from silver PS2 SCPH-50004).
The problem is not the console port 'cause i've tested other joypads from PS2 (SCPH-30004 "day one") and PSX (SCPH-5002) and everything works flawlessly.
I try to open one of those broken joypad but everything seems perfect.
It could be the cable? Usually i try to not stress them...
Thanks for any kind of help

Somebody knows if it's possible to buy a replacement cable (+ connector) for PS1/PS2 joypad?
    I haven't found it yet
    Thanks

You could buy an extension cable for the Playstation controller, cut the end off, and wire it into the gamepad.

You should test (with a multimeter) the connections between the solder points on the controller pcb and the plug pins before switching out the - possibly perfectly fine - cable.

(Actually, you'd need to do that anyways so you know how to wire up the new cable...)

    Thank you guys!
First i will test a working joypad, then a broken one.
Using an extension cable is a great idea
