Could this be a early build the rebooted project Titan?

 

The most likely explanation is that this is something a team at Blizzard created as proof that the base WoW engine would in fact run on the 360. Its possible they were planning a WoW port for the 360 but given how poorly MMOs translate to consoles, some sort of spin-off game is more likely.

 

I knew I had heard things about a possible xbox360 port in the past but wanted to find some details before saying anything. A wow 360 port was defiantly considered at some point by Blizzard and being a big wow player I had heard rumblings about 4/5 years ago. There are a few articles on the web about it, basically saying it wouldn't happen due to the fact most 360 owners wouldnt have the storage for it. At this time most 360's had a 20gb hdd so makes sense;

whilst none of this tells us much, it does at least indicate that Blizzard had more than likely looked into doing it and this was the result. If I find any more articles I will post them up as I defiantly remember at some point Blizzard saying they were looking into it's viability.

This is what started the rumour mill! A Blizzard job listing which could have implied the possibility of a wow port to 360 and other consoles. Sadly the actual job listing is gone but I'll see if I can find a copy of it.
