Here is a good pic of Zeikfred that I photoshopped that could make a good background for a desktop.

Well, thanks to due process Japanification/Engrish, his name was changed to Zeikfred, where it was supposed to be Siegfried.
    What does Zeikfred mean?

    @ madhatter:
you don't need to use the GUI that microsoft is giving you with windows, you know? there's somes alternatives, but they aren't very popular and known.

Im using Style XP and currently have this nice blue theme. I just need to find a nice desktop background. The one I posted was to show off becuase I was able to see and hear one in person just last weekend.

  13. I used to have StyleXP, but it was too much of a resource hog, so it's back to the Classic Windows interface. I also tried Windowblinds, with the same result. It was sad too, I had a theme that mimiced the Watercolor theme from Windows Whistler that was really cool.

I think (though I might be wrong) that what LoganJ is running is not a theme program but one of the Explorer replacements that can be found. Care to tell us, LoganJ? :-D

"Zeiken" means both "to urinate" and "to whine" in Dutch, and thus "Zeikfred" would be akin to "Pissing/Whining Fred"

ok, well i installed a UXtheme hack which allows you to use the inbuilt Style system of XP so i didnt have to use StyleXP, and its a customised version of Aesthetic Groove (http://www.4impressions.net/v2/html/ex_suites.html) (i wasn't happy with the max/min buttons or the way the taskbar was handled but liked everything else) the wallpaper is from the same site, but i edited it to create 2 different wallpapers to span across both screens, the icon set is also from 4impressions made by heylove, they can be found here - (http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/4066779/) (couldnt find them on the 4impressions site)- they arent actually the ones that are supposed to go with Aesthetic Groove, but I liked them more, haha.. (Heylove also makes the Theme, and some other really REALLY nice ones)

The bar that has all my system info and looks like its part of the taskbar, is actually Samurize, that i made to fit where the taskbar should be on my 2nd monitor.

The Calendar and Search box are done via Kapsules (http://kapsules.shellscape.org/downloads.aspx) , the calendar was originally bright red (http://kapsules.shellscape.org/forge.aspx?i=39), but i edited all its graphics in photoshop to match the brown of everything else

The mac style bar is YzDock (hard to find due to Apple getting pissy bout it, but if anyone wants it, im sure i could help :) ), and i use YzToolbar to replace the Back, Forward, List etc etc buttons in explorer (its a recoloured version of the standard Yztoolbar theme).

Regards my HD space, yeah, i also have another PC behind me in pieces with 500gb of drives in, that i need to format and install into this one, but I'm VERY lazy haha. It's all part of my "download and archive every TV show in existence" plan, haha :D. Many people look at me like I'm on smack when I tell them how much harddrive space have.

I'm actually bored with the theme now, and will probably change everything again as soon ^_^

LoganJ: don´t worry about your harddrive space i was on a DC hub where some of them had 1 TB of share and that was because they had a lot of music , so don´t worry i think it is cool :)
