here's one I forgot, I once got a Philips Videopac at the market with 66 games (64 of which were boxed) for 20e... not that bad if you ask me, I looked the games up in the rarity list at www.videopac.info and 10 of them are rated "Extremely Rare", another 10 are "rare" and then half of the rest is "uncommon". 8)

I purchased Gunstar Heroes (Genesis) for $20 off ebay, and ended up getting a piece of shite copy of the game.

EXACTLY one week later, I found a mint copy for $5 in the back room of a Warehouse Music that was going out of business.

    Figures.

    Free stuff

When I moved into my current house, I found a part of the wall that was weak and had some screws on the top of it. When I unscrewed the board from the wall, it revealed a treasure trove of goodies...An atari 2600 jr. some dedicated pong thing I'd never seen before, a dozen cartridges for various systems, a few game and watches, and a whole bunch of catalogs, brochures and posters. WOW!

Once on ebay some idiot sold me a "broken tg-16 cd" in the big black case. He failed to test it as well as even pull it out of the box. If he had, he would have found nearly every rare turbochip the tg16 had!!!! All for $20!!!

  19. Not the most amazing deal, but still... I got my Final Fantasy Tactics Gameboy Adv SP boxset for £179 , plus the FFTAdv players guide book, all in Japanese, with a FFT trading card sealed in the back. Mmm, pearl white Sp :smt023 Only 50,000 produced.

It's been out of its box twice, to drain the battery and show ppl. They've been going on ebay for about £350+, without the guide book, and in used condition.

Cool. That'll pay for my lung transplant op in a few years. Or I could just stop smoking.....
